OSI Model, TCP/IP Model
Open System Interconnection Model (OSI) is a conceptual framework designed by ISO and it is a model is a logical model/representation of how the network systems are supposed to send data (or, communicate) to each other. OSI model is divided into seven layers and named as Application Layer, Presentation Layer, Session Layer, Transport Layer, Network Layer, Data Link Layer, Physical Layer.
TCP/IP – TCP/IP means Transmission Control Protocol and Internet Protocol. It is the network model used in the current Internet architecture as well. TCP/IP has 4 Layers named as Application Layer, Transport Layer, Internet Layer, Network Access Layer.
In this module you will learn “different layers in OSI, TCP/IP and its functions, [IP/TCP/UDP] Header Details, explaining the OSI model with multiple examples and many more .. “
